Athens Pride Week Events 2022 | June 10-17 Open Call for Submissions
Athens Pride Week is the week before Athens Pride Day,* our main event, which takes place in the heart of the city. Athens Pride Week consists of cultural, recreational, artistic, educational, and sporting events in which individuals, groups and organizations join forces to publically express and discuss human rights issues and the concerns of the LGBTQI+ community.
Individuals, groups and organizations who wish to participate in Athens Pride Week with a relevant project or activity are invited to submit their complete proposals or ideas for consideration.
The theme of this year’s Athens Pride is our demand for Safer Spaces for a life that is equal, open and proud for all. Proposals should, if possible, reflect this theme.
Deadline for Submissions: Friday April 15, 2022
The final Athens Pride Week program will comprise special projects and a selection of proposals submitted under in this call.
The Athens Pride organization is committed to observing all health protocols as in force in June 2022.
*Athens Pride is the largest event of its kind in Southeast Europe. Its mission is to support the visibility of LGBTQI+ people and advance their demands and rights in Greek society through the organization of the annual Athens Pride Festival.
