In view of the imminent passing of the Marriage Equality bill, Athens Pride invites the members of the LGBTQI+ community, as well as all those who support us, to a militant and celebratory gathering outside the Hellenic Parliament on Thursday, February 15th at 16:00, as we resoundingly assert: We are here. And we will not back down from our long-standing demands for Full Equality.
We are here for the full recognition of our families and our rights. We stand strong in the face of the vile homophobic, biphobic, transphobic, and interphobic hate speech that has been unleashed against us during this time. And we celebrate with joy and emotion this historic day for the LGBTQI+ community in Greece.
Where:Syntagma, on Vasilissis Amalias Avenue and in front of the Hellenic Parliament. The closest metro is Syntagma, where there is an elevator and access to Vasilissis Amalias Ave from Othonos Street.

Addresses by Greek LGBTQI+ organizations will take place between 19:00 and 20:00.Throughout the event a screen will live-stream the debate in the Parliamentary Plenary, as well as periodic announcements by the organization.All speeches will be interpreted in Greek Sign Language by Hands-up.Antivirus support the call and will cover it.
