The recreational use of certain psychoactive substances in sex, known as chemsex, is an activity whose frequency seems to be increasing in the last decade, mainly among ASAs worldwide. In Greece, it is also more and more common in recent years. Although there is no doubt about the negative effects it can have on the health of some people and the dangers of abusing these substances, the chemsex approach must be approached in a broader light, free from the traditional addiction and prevention approaches, in order to to take a stand on this phenomenon. This approach should take into account the non-heterosexual expressions of sexuality, the way queer and LGBTQI + subjects grow up and live, but also how people relate today, under a social bond that is a challenge for all people. At this event, an effort is made to open to the community the dialogue related to chemsex through the presentation of data from research activities and collaborations of Positive Voice, the reflection on the form of the connection between the ASA today and the discussion about with what response is required at social, community and service level.
